Committee Scope
The Finance Advisory Committee shall serve as an advisory committee to the Rio Rancho School District Board of Education and the School District Superintendent, representing the needs of the school district on matters pertaining to school district finance. The committee shall review and make recommendations with respect to the proposed annual budget as it aligns to the District’s Education Plan for Student Success (EPSS).
Such review and recommendations shall consider and include an evaluation of the total revenue available for school district expenditures during the budgetary year and determine if proposed expenditures are aligned with the EPSS and school board policies.
